Member Story of the Month

Our Sales & Services Associate Rahim Khlafan is known for providing wonderful service and smiles to our members. This month, he helped one of our members who has been with Texas Trust for 40 years lower her monthly car payment by nearly $70 a month!

The member was having difficulty with her finances and was struggling to get approved for a loan. After advising her on how to improve her credit standing, Rahim set a personal reminder to reach out to the member. One day he reached out to her to see if there was anything he could do for her. She was still in need of an auto refinance, but on that day, Rahim had good news! She was finally approved!

Much to the member’s happiness and relief, Rahim was able to help her reduce her interest rate by 2%, taking her monthly car payment from $595 to $527, giving her a savings of $66 a month!
