Sheryl McMinn couldn’t find funding for her house until Texas Trust stepped in.

Sheryl McMinn is a self-employed real estate agent who has helped clients obtain their dream homes for the past 23 years. She currently lives in Cleburne but serves clients all over Johnston County and Tarrant County. In May, Sheryl came to our Arlington Little Road branch to make a mortgage payment.

She tells us, “I always enjoy coming into the Little Road branch. Everyone here is really nice. In fact, everyone is nice at all of the branches. They are all so patient and kind.”

Sheryl’s job keeps her on the road, so she likes to stop by our branches to handle any quick financial services she needs. She knows that she can count on Texas Trust to handle any issues that spring up and still get her out of the branch in a timely fashion.

“I’m telling you; I have banked at every branch you have. All came with nice, good experiences,” says McMinn.

We asked what made her decide to become a member. Two years ago, Sheryl was struggling to find financing for her family’s home. They’d just completed major remodeling on their historic home and were looking to refinance their mortgage. At the time, they had an interest-only investment loan in place but wanted a lower rate and better terms. She found that financial institutions didn’t want to lend to a small business owner living in a 100-year-old house.

“It was time to put permanent financing in place, and we weren’t able to get it,” says McMinn.

Eventually, a client recommended she refinance through Texas Trust. Our loan officer was not only able to navigate her through the mortgage process with ease, but also find a rate that fit her family’s needs.

She was finally able to get approved funding for their home at a reasonable rate. At Texas Trust, we understand that our members’ financial needs can be unique. That’s why we are dedicated to providing members like Sheryl with quality customer service and financial solutions under any circumstance.
